What our badges mean, how reviews work, and how to stay safe.
What the badges mean
- VerifiedRokCheang staff checked at least one document from this worker (ID, training certificate, trade certificate or business registration).
- Checked by staffThis specific certificate was checked by staff against the uploaded document.
- Self-reportedEntered by the worker and not checked by RokCheang.
- FeaturedSelected by the RokCheang team to show on the homepage. It is not a rating of quality.
Badges confirm documents, not workmanship. Always agree on scope, price and timing before work starts.
How reviews work
A customer can only review a worker they marked as hired on one of their jobs, once per hire. Reviews cannot be bought or edited by workers. Moderators may hide reviews that break our rules.
Reporting and blocking
Use the Report button on profiles, jobs, reviews and portfolio photos. Reports are private and reviewed by our team. You can report:
- Fake profile
- Fraudulent job post
- Inappropriate messages or content
- Misleading information
Blocking stops a user from messaging you, and hides your jobs from each other.
Your privacy
- Phone numbers are only shown to signed-in members, and workers can hide theirs completely.
- We never show exact home addresses. Distance uses the service area or a location rounded to about 1 km.
- Verification documents are visible only to RokCheang staff.
- Workers can stop search engines from showing their profile.
Staying safe
- Never pay a fee to apply for a job.
- Agree on the work, price and schedule in writing.
- Keep conversations on RokCheang until you trust the other person.
